With a new on-board load compensation feature, it offers the most cost effective fully compliant Boiler Plus solution on the market providing the homeowner with optimum efficiency and maximum heating control comfort.

The SALUS RT520RF Programmable Wireless Room Thermostat includes all the features of the previous RT series with a larger more intuitive LCD display and a handy new suite of additional operational and efficiency functions.

The SALUS RF Thermostats have the added benefit of communicating wirelessly between the room thermostat via a receiver – meaning that they can be installed quickly and without the fuss of a wired installation. This RT520RF is fully compatible with existing range of SALUS Receivers.

The recent implementation of the so-called ‘Boiler Plus’ regulations in the UK has mandated that heating systems must include one of four specified energy saving features in order to be compliant with updated building regulations. SALUS already offer a range of compliant Smart connected thermostats with Optimisation and Automation features. To meet the demand for non-connected Boiler Plus compliant thermostats we have introduced the RT520 as a solution including an energy saving load compensation feature. OpenTherm Load Compensation additionally offers improved boiler control and efficiency by only using the necessary amount of gas to heat the water to the required temperature. In addition to the features found on the standard SALUS RT Line the RT520 has a range of additional advanced control and energy saving functions as well as some added traditional features favoured by the Landlord and Social Housing segments such as a Service Mode and PIN control.
